Nice display by some viruses activity to the screen monitor

 Virus Activity

In a few years a go when the viruses spread many-many disks and files, they sometimes shown messages that became their signed to tell their existance in a disk or file. Many of these viruses have a good programming skill to show their messages (nice message too), especially some that shown messages or pictures in graphics format.

In the time they grown, I have collected some of these local viruses to study or to have some fun of them. Most from a boot sector virus that can show some picture or message in graphics format. Until now, I have collect them for all version of viruses that can infect in PC-DOS format, ie.:boot sector viruses, file viruses, macro viruses. But I am not a virus hunter, just an amateur one.

Some of boot viruses have a nice display message.I had extracted the display routine and made some of *.COM files that could display the virus message by run them from the command prompt. these display messages could be use for fun when you put it on the disk and made the program could be run from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. When a friend borrow your disk and if he make a hot booting (CTRL-ALT-DEL) from the disk, the message will be displayed. You can put more than one of these viruses, he will be really surprised. When he check the disk with anti-virus, everything is okay. It's only for example, but if you do not sure what you will be received when he or she is angry, don't try for this ;-) It is only just for fun, just for satisfaction.

Here are some of the virus display messages that I could pick from the main programs. Note that, these programs are not the viruses, because I have removed other routines that do not related to the display routine for the safety, if someone curious want to change a virus to make another virus. The program name refer to the virus name by itself. You can freely download and give it to your friends, etc. .. . etc . . . or you just want to see how a virus like, just as your wish. I was configured the delay time so it's best viewed with 80486-DX-2/66 PC and below (because this is the highest CPU of my own at that moment).

  • Alex.COM - Displays message (Indonesian virus, "Alexander virus")
  • Denzuko.COM - Displays id creator (Indonesian virus, "Den-Zuk virus")
  • Sapta.COM - Displays id creator (Indonesian Virus, "Sapta Wahyu virus")
  • H&Dee.COM - Displays message (may be from Indonesia, "HD virus")
  • Hackers.COM - Displays id creator (Indonesian virus, the same creator for Den-Zuk virus, "Hacker's virus")
  • H-Mod.COM - Displays message (virus modification from Hacker's virus)
  • Mardi.COM - Displays id creator (Indonesian virus, "Mardi Bross virus")
  • Nice-day.COM - Displays string (I don't know from where, "Nice Day virus")
  • PC-stone.COM - Displays string (may be from New Zealand, "PC Stoned virus")
  • Pidie.COM - Displays id creator (Indonesian virus, "Alexander Pidie virus", the same creator for Alexander virus")
  • Satria.COM - Displays message (Indonesian virus, "I love You virus")
  • SThomas.COM - Displays message (virus modification from Den-Zuk virus)
  • SW-mod.COM - Displays message (virus modification from Sapta Wahyu virus)
  • Spandemo.COM - Displays message like starwars opening title
  • Ideademo.COM - Displays message with animation effect
That's all folks ... enjoy ...

Notes :

Because many people ask about these programs, that it's really virus or not, here I confirm that these programs are not virus. The routine to spread themselves already deleted or inactived. So it doesn't matter if you run it. No parts of your computer or system will be damage. And don't ask me to send you the original virus, ok!
